The former wife of Vladimir Potanin told the reporters about her view of the trial on the division of property and alimony. She is not going to be in the court personally since she fully trusts her r representatives. In the interview published on the website of the Russian Legal Information Agency RAPSI, Natalia Potanina noticed that it is still a mystery, for what reason, her relationship with the ex-husband suddenly changed after 30 years of marriage, leading to the divorce and division of the property. She told the reporters why her defenders insisted on the open proceeding, and expressed assumptions about the reasons for the representatives of Vladimir Potanin to do otherwise.

In particular, she said that a statement by the former spouse that the family relationship between them has not been maintained since 2007, in fact hides behind the division of capital between Vladimir Potanin and his business partner at that time Mikhail Prokhorov, which fell on the same date. In the interview, she pointed out that seeks to divide the property with the former spouse in accordance with the fair applicable Russian legislation, but not according to her ex-husband’s ideas about how it should happen. And she hopes that her point of view nevertheless will be heard in court, despite the fact that at the moment this is not happening.
