In late February, there was the decision, according to which Potanin has to pay a quarter of the income as alimony for the minor child.

May we recall that on April 2, Potanin transferred to Natalia Potanina 10,400 rubles of alimony for March. Natalia Potanina had no illusions about the fair conduct of Mr. Potanin. From the very beginning he behaved inconsistently: first he filed for divorce and specified the absence of the property dispute. Then, suddenly, he filed for division of property and proposed to the spouse 0.5% of the family wealth in view that we cannot disentangle offshore schemes and prove that fixed assets belong to the family. After the trial, this established the alimony in the amount of a quarter of earnings and other income, his representative declared 8.5 million that he will transfer. After a month passed he transferred 10 thousand. Potanin’s behavior from the very beginning was of demonstrative nature.

However, public opinion and wide press coverage of Potanin’s behavior apparently played a role.

According to the information published in the press, Vladimir Potanin transferred about 9 million rubles for the maintenance of the minor child.
