Pelageya's lawyer, Philip Ryabchenko, told whether the singer's daughter will be able to leave the Russian Federation

The Odintsovo Court of Moscow has decided to lift the ban imposed by Ivan Telegin on his daughter from singer Pelageya leaving the Russian Federation. The artist's lawyer, Philip Ryabchenko, commented on the court's decision.
“According to the court’s decision, which must be enforced immediately, Pelageya’s daughter Taisiya will now be able to travel outside the Russian Federation regardless of her father’s opinion until she reaches adulthood.”
According to the lawyer, Telegin attempted to challenge Pelageya's claim to lift the ban. The father allegedly feared that the mother would take the child abroad for permanent residence and he would not be able to fulfill his parental duties.
“It’s ridiculous because Pelageya, as a representative of Russian culture, a performer of folk songs, who has been developing the spirit of patriotism in her audiences through her performances for many years, has long been under sanctions and on the Mirotvorets list as a Russian patriot dangerous to the West,” said Ryabchenko.
Moreover, the lawyer continued, even after the ban on his daughter leaving the country, the father did not congratulate Taisiya on finishing first grade and did not write a word to her.
The day before, Pelageya filed an appeal against the court's decision on the division of jointly acquired property with Telegin.
