Law firm “BIEL” represents the interests of Natalia Potanina in divorce proceedings

Businessman Vladimir Potanin, who occupies the seventh place among the richest people in Russia (according to Forbes), filed for divorce. In case of the property division according to Russian law the businessman’s wife Natalia Potanina could become the richest woman in our country. Her interests in court are represented by the Law firm “BIEL”.

Vladimir Potanin is the owner and president of the largest in Russia management company ZAO (Closed Joint-Stock Company) Holding company “Interros” and CEO of the Russian mining and metallurgical company “Norilsk Nickel” and the shareholder of some other legal entities. Thus, according to Forbes, in 2013 the assets under his control amounted in total to about USD 14.3 billion.

Vladimir Potanin filed the civil suit for divorce with justice judicial district No.418 of Presnensky District of Moscow. According to the application of his lawyers with reference to the privacy right, the court decided not to admit press representatives at the hearing, despite objections of the opposite side.

Natalia Potanina’s interests in court are represented by the Law firm “BIEL”. At the moment, taking into account the wish of the client, the firm's lawyers do not give any comments regarding the process.
